2022 Western Pennsylvania Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Andrew Ripepi is a 2022 3B/IF with a 5-11 215 lb. frame from McMurray, PA who attends Peters Twp. Very strong and durable build, present strength really stands out. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread open stance, has very fast hands and creates big raw bat speed, rotational upper body, really takes an aggressive hack at the ball, looking to get his arms extended, crushed some balls with plus/plus impact when he did, full gorilla approach with the tools and skills to do it. 7.10 runner in the sixty. Light on his feet for his size and build, moves well to both sides, showed plus raw arm strength on his throws, plenty athletic enough for third base at the next level. Very good student, signed with Pittsburgh. Named to the Western Pennsylvania Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
