Mark Payton is a 2010 OF/P/1B with a 5'8'', 160 lb. frame from Orland Park, IL who attends St. Rita. Payton has an athletic build, hits from a wide base, very simple swing with solid bat speed, good balance and extension, shows good pop, solid approach, good hitter, runs very well (6.88 sixty), defensively, showed athletic ability, long arm action, ball comes out easy, great arm strength, solid all around player. Named to top prospect team. He is also a good student.
