Gavin Triezenberg is a 2025 SS/3B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Palos Heights, IL, who attends Brother Rice. A taller frame with a sturdy build. Strength throughout with some physicality to the build. Ran a 7.19 60-yard dash. A primary shortstop who worked out on the infield with good movements working laterally. He shuffles into his throws with tons of quickness through release. He had a feel for the glove work working into the funnel. Good actions working to both sides. Had a shorter release with good whip on his throws that were up to 85 mph across the diamond during the round. Threw from a lower slot. Aggressive on the slow roller and made an excellent play to finish the round out. Projectable actions on the dirt. A right-handed hitter who had an upright stance, an even base, and slightly open feet. Keeps higher set hands with a lower back elbow. He had a ton of strength in the hands with a shorter path to contact. Rotates hard through the swing. He mainly worked up the middle during his round of BP swings. Hammered some balls with a good round of BP. Produced a 91 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Great student. Named to 2024 Chicago Indoor Showcase TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
