Robert Baker V is a 2025 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-4 110 lb. frame from Suffolk, VA who attends Nansemond River. Smaller build, very young look. Low hand delivery with a quick sidestep and turn over the rubber, gets down the mound well with good balance and direction, over the top arm slot with very good extension out front, arm works very well for his size and age. Fastball topped out at 71 mph with good life and the ability to throw it for strikes. Tunneled his curveball very well with his fastball and showed some spin and bite to the pitch. Very skilled young southpaw for his age and size, just a matter of how much bigger and stronger he will get. Has the same type of strong fundamentals and athleticism to his actions in the outfield and his left handed swing at the plate. Has been very well coached and has the aptitude and athleticism to apply it on the field.
