Brandon Patanao is a 2021 LHP/1B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Villarica, GA who attends Villa Rica. Medium athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Easy delivery with good tempo and flow, long and loose arm action with a mid to low 3/4's arm slot, works quickly and is poised and under control on the mound. Steady mid-70's fastball with good tailing life, gets dialed in on the arm side corner low away from right handed hitters and lives there as much as possible. Sweeping curveball with some feel for locating the pitch. Showed projectable tools with the bat, left handed hitter, gets his lower half involved with a big stride in and some hip torque, low hand start, creates some bat speed with an aggressive approach, hits to all fields with his best contact to left centerfield. 7.72 runner with polished defensive actions at first base. Good student.
