John Glasscock is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Scottsville, VA who attends Fluvanna County. Medium and athletic frame. Begins delivery with a leg lift to chest level and lands slightly open at foot strike. Uses a long and whippy arm action, releasing from a high-3/4 slot with good arm speed. Athleticism is evident and topped at 92 mph with the fastball. Got a bit inconsistent with release at times. Showcased very good feel to spin two breaking balls. Curveball showed 11-5 shape with good sweep and depth to it. Threw a sharp slider that was effective against right-handed hitters. Athletic and spin profile is unique with developing command. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to West Virginia.
