Gino Manicchio is a 2022 3B/SS with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Ossining, NY who attends Ossining. Recorded a 5.21 second 40-yd dash time. Large frame with long limbs and plenty of room to fill out. Primary third basemen with agile footwork and soft hands. Uses short, athletic strides to surround and field out in front with clean funnel and transfers. Tends to work upward into an elongated release with lots of effort, recording throws up to 79 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter; upright, slightly open stance with an uppercut swing plane and occasional impact to the middle of the field. Shows ability to create leverage, using long levers to create lift when in sync and on time. Will improve with proper swing adjustments and timing, frame projects for more power in the future.
