Nicholas Blakeney is a 2025 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-7 136 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Liberty. Medium athletic build with lots of growing ahead of him. Deceptive delivery, hides the ball well and will vary his timing and leg lifts, gets downhill from a 3/4's arm slot, front side will leak early at times but repeats his mechanics well for his age and throws consistent strikes. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, mostly straight. Showed the ability to spin the ball with some bite and feel, shaped the ball for both a curveball and slider effect. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a leg lift trigger and good rhythm in his load, long and extended swing with some lift out front, torques his lower half hard. 8.41 runner who plays first base and the outfield when not on the mound.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
