2024 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 5)
Devin Kendall is a 2026 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-2 166 lb. frame from Hampton, GA who attends Dutchtown. Long, lean projectable frame with wiry strong build, good athletic twitch and room to add more physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in a solid 6.67 seconds. Primary position infielder, working low to the ground and covering ground with long, easy strides. Advanced, smooth actions with the glove securing the ball crisply and accurately working it out front to clean transfer. Emerging arm strength and arm action creating accurate feeds up to 75 mph across the diamond. Will stick in the middle with increase in arm strength. Looks the part for sure and showed off high level dexterity on the slow roller play. RHH working from a medium, inline base and using toe tap trigger for timing pre-pitch. Handset tight to the body and turns hard through impact. Bat speed is present and strength translates well at contact. Plenty of projection in the box with some refined barrel control in the future. All the ingredients of an offensive middle infielder type long term. Outstanding student as well.
