Carter Hadnot is a 2027 SS/3B/OF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Rialto, CA who attends Aquinas. An athletic frame and build with strength that shows. Room to continue adding strength moving forward as well. Ran a 7.01 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop who took good angles and showed good footwork as he settled into his round of throws across the infield. He worked through the ball well and showed really good glovework. He showed a real clean funnel into smooth release with throws getting up to 85 mph across the diamond. Super fluid and fundamental round during workouts with tools that transfer to in-game situations as he flashed the glovework and clean throws in-game as well. He's a switch-hitter. As a left-handed hitter, he uses a small and short leg lift trigger to get on time. He sets up with higher-set hands and a high back elbow. He was able to show off some looseness to the wrists and drive the ball well. As a lefty in-game, he was able to barrel up a pull-side single into right field, showing off some bat speed. As a right-handed hitter he had a similar setup with a bit steeper path to work uphill through contact. He transfers the weight well and showed off some more barrel control during his round of BP swings from the right side. As a righty in-game he was able to pick up a pull-side double into left field. He showed off the bat speed once again, driving the ball in the air and seeing it carom off the wall for a double. Hit well from both sides in-game and showed off good actions in the batters' box. Verbal commitment to Miami. Named to the 2023 14u Perfect Game Select Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
