Ian White Jr. is a 2024 RHP/MIF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Malvern, PA who attends The Haverford School. Medium athletic build with some strength and room for more. Immediate hip turn in to his delivery, full stop above the rubber, step by step mechanics, very rotational mechanics, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball worked up to 91 mph, works mainly down in the zone, still developing feel for his horizontal command with his fastball. Slider was his best pitch this outing and most frequent as well, gets consistent 3100+ spin rates with sharp bite and big sweeping depth, lands the slider early in counts and works ahead. Change up was a solid pitch with potential. Going to get lots of outs with his slider at the next level. Good student, verbal commitment to East Carolina.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
