Miguel Morales Rosario is a 2022 C/2B, OF with a 5-9 133 lb. frame from Arroyo, PR who attends Natividad Rodriguez Gonzalez. Medium frame with slender, young build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.46 seconds. Hits from open stance with hands flat to start, inside-out hand path with intent to hit the ball the opposite way, shows ability to work through the middle, tends to move backwards at contact, will improve as he gains strength. Primary catcher, good set up with flex in hips, receives well, stands straight up to throw, solid accuracy, clocked up to 67 mph. Also worked out in the infield, plays low to ground, bounce to footwork, shows lateral skills, hands work out front, clocked up to 73 mph across the diamond.
