Justin Wilkinson is a 2023 1B/LHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Ronkonkoma, NY who attends Connetquot. Medium frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 40 yard dash in 5.33 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, loads toe to toe, compact bat speed, really locks back into load, handsy path on linear plane, consistently good contact skills, will get onto front side at times. Worked out at first base, later trap door funnel with hands, fields deep, stiffness through turn, clocked up to 72 mph on throws. Also pitched, high inward leg lift, overtop slot, compact stroke, fastball worked 73-77 mph with good arm side life, threw a lot of strikes, flashes cutter as well. Very good student.
