Holden Rook is a 2022 OF with a 5-10 158 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends College Park. Medium frame with long limbs, present athleticism and room to add strength. Recored a 6.55 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set; anticipatory actions into the fielding process, fields off front foot properly with well maintained momentum into and through release. Displayed developing arm strength recorded up to 84 miles per hour with accuracy to the bags. Right-handed hitter; simple operation with hanging leg lift trigger and positive weight shift into contact, showing the ability to impact the baseball when on time. Middle-of-the field approach with short, direct swing path and the potential for pull-side power as his frame matures. Plenty of projection remaining for young prospect, will continue to improve with proper adjustments and additional strength.
