Lukas Dawson is a 2023 SS/RHP, IF, OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Escondido, CA who attends Maranatha Christian Schools. Ran a 7.40 60-yard dash. Physical build with broad shoulders. On the mound, throws with shorter arm action and shows athleticism in the delivery. His fastball had some arm side life to it. Throws a tight breaking ball that has some late movement. In the infield, moves well on the left side with solid arm strength. He was clocked up to 86 MPH in the infield. Shows soft hands and the footwork works well. At the plate, shows more power over hit tool presently. Swings with a narrow base and shows use of the whole field. Good extension through the swing. His highest exit velocity was 82 MPH. Great student in the classroom.
