Nick Bettenhauser is a 2020 LHP with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Sudbury, MA who attends Lincoln-Sudbury HS. Big and strong build. Long and loose arm circle in back, hides the ball behind his body well, repeats his delivery well, works quickly. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, has good running life, works his fastball to the arm side very consistently. Big soft curveball that he has good feel for locating, looks to back door right handed hitters with it consistently. Lives on and just off the arm side corner and frustrates right handed hitters into expanding the zone. Knows his strengths and pitches to them well. Good student.
