2020 Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase
Colin MacNabb is a 2023 C/MIF, OF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Annapolis, MD who attends Key. Recorded a 8.13 second sixty-yard dash time. Smaller frame with plenty of room to fill out and add strength. Primary catcher with a developing defensive skill set, segmented footwork out of the crouch and lower arm action into release. Displays developing arm strength up to 62 mph in drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an even, spread stance with a high back elbow and small hover trigger for timing. Incorporates slight weight shift with rotational lower half mechanics and flatter bat path. Middle-of-the field approach with fairly consistent bat-to-ball skills, some feel for the barrel and the ability to impact through the middle when on time. Will continue to improve with additional strength throughout his overall skill set. Good Student.
