Heath Salyards is a 2022 OF/RHP/UT with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Rowlett, TX who attends Rowlett. Medium athletic build with some present strength with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, has a short and direct swing with a line drive swing plane, makes solid line drive contact when he doesn't collapse his backside and create too much uphill angle, best when working under control and up the middle with a inside swing approach. 7.56 runner, works through the ball well in the outfield with sound footwork, big exaggerated separation to throw slows down his release, developing arm strength. Also played the infield and has some experience catching. Good student.
