Madden Ocko is a 2023 SS/RHP/IF/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Notre Dame. Primary infielder, has some limited actions but has time to put all the tools together. Takes longer strides into the play, slows momentum a couple steps to receive which translates to ball transfer and throws. Flashes some good hand-eye coordination and ability to read the hops. In the outfield, has a more confident glove and plays through the ball with momentum. Showed off some arm potential, good quick actions and getting on top of a strong throw. Kept the throws low and got the body involved on time. Right-handed pitcher, has a good frame on the mound with a quick delivery. Unique leg lift stride into heel-to-toe action. Has some feel getting optimal push off the rubber, backside stays back and fires off well. Has a quick arm and displayed fluid mechanics. Good student.
