Jaxson Wood is a 2024 1B/3B, MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Frederick, MD who attends Georgetown Preparatory. Recorded 7.41 seconds in the sixty-yard dash. Primary first baseman fields the ball out front with good glove actions showing a quick release and a good turn to second base throwing 78 across the field. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with high hands, a wide and open base, and swings from the backside showing some barrel control as he works the ball middle of the field approach while developing backspin on the ball. Excellent student.
