2025 PG Jr. National Showcase
Kane Garcia is a 2027 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends IMG Academy. Medium athletic build with some present strength. 7.51 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has easy athletic actions around the bag, comfortable and quick footwork, quick exchanges on his throws with plenty of arm strength for the position. Left handed hitter, starts in a spread stance with a leg raise trigger, pull side approach, gets extended through contact and can turn the barrel over, has some power projection. Took a turn on the mound, has a full arm swing to a 3/4's arm slot and a cross fire release angle, works quickly and throws strikes. Fastball sat in the low 80's with some sinking action. Tended to slow his arm on a soft curveball and change up, induced plenty of weak contact. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
