Drew Bailey is a 2023 3B/IF, OF, UT with a 6-1 178 lb. frame from Bridgeport, WV who attends Bridgeport. Large frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.29 seconds. Hits from even-based, slightly crouched stance with high hands and back elbow, big leg lift trigger, whip to barrel coming through, quality bat-to-ball skills on linear plane, consistent contact skills, good hitting tools. Primary infielder, sits back on the ball a bit, clean glove out front, some feel for backhand play, stays balanced through strides, with good accuracy. Also took outfield reps, comes in on the ball well and maintains momentum, clocked up to 79 mph on throws. Excellent student.
