2024 14U Midwest All-State Games (Invite Only)
Cole Rehtus is a 2028 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Kearney, NE who attends Kearney. Lean young build. 7.78 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, plays through the ball well and shows his athleticism, gets his glove down early and in good position and fields the ball confidently, quick release on his throws, solid overall actions. Right handed hitter, starts from a narrow stance with a hanging leg raise trigger and a long stride into contact, lots of timing variables to deal with, longer swing with the beginnings of some bat speed. Also pitched, has a side step/high leg raise delivery with a medium length 3/4's arm action, gets good extension down the mound. Did a good job locating a mid-70's fastball that topped out at 79 mph early. Did not throw an off-speed pitch in the game.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
