Hunter Pudlo is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-6 250 lb. frame from Antioch, IL who attends Lakes Community. Recorded a 7.42 second 60 yard dash time. Extra large frame with a strong and thick build, imposing stature with advanced physicality. Primary right-handed pitcher, max effort thrower with head whack, throws from the third base side. Fastball has some cut to it on the glove side. Struggled with command in this look, limited repeatability in the operation at present but has significant arm talent. His most impressive pitch was his slider. The slider has sharp cut and late bite with some bend to the shape, was able to throw it for strikes easily and shows huge swing and miss potential. The changeup was also a quality offering, has late run as soon as it crosses the plate. The pitch movement and arm talent project well as he continues to improve his repeatability. Right-handed hitter with a wide stance and small leg lift trigger. Has a lot of pre-pitch bat waggle, causes him to be late at times. Obvious strength and bat speed present, fires the hips well and swings aggressively. Good balance and extension, inconsistent contact and timing in this look but shows big power potential when on time and squared. Excellent student. Named to the 2021 Midwest Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
