Makai Johnson is a 2027 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-6 125 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends Mceachern. Young, lean build with ample amount of time to continue adding strength. 7.95 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder, works through the ball well with a one hand funnel on the side of the frame. Full arm action to a lower release point, accurate throws and on a line. Recorded throws up to 74 mph. Secondary left-handed pitcher, belt high leg lift to balance, arm works to a lower three-quarters slot. Upper half dominant down the slope and worked with a fastball heavy diet, running it up to 66 mph (1543 RPM) and worked in the 63-66 range. Left-handed hitter, upright and narrow base, short knee lift trigger stride, works to get the hands inside the baseball with developing strength at impact. Middle of the field impact when in rhythm with young strength. Good student.
