Chris Nadeau -- Nadeau is a left handed hitting junior infielder from Michigan with a very nice left handed bat. Nadeau is wiry strong now at 6-0, 160 lbs but will be able to gain plenty of strength in his upper half with hard work. Nadeau has a nice balanced approach at the plate with good lower half leverage and plenty of loft in his swing. He takes a hard cut and generates very good bat speed. The ball jumped off his bat in game situations and he showed over the fence loft power in batting practice. There’s really no doubt in our minds that this young man is going to hit at the college level. What position Nadeau plays is an open question. Nadeau is going to have to work hard on his agility or he’ll be pigeon-holed over to first base in the future. His bat will play large at the college level. Chris is a very good student.
