2022 Northeast Top Prospect Games @ Rutgers
Sam Weinstein is a 2024 C/3B with a 6-1 183 lb. frame from Brookeville, MD who attends Georgetown Preparatory. Weinstein impressed behind the dish over the course of the event, performing well both in workouts and in game. He remained square in the set and exploded out of the crouch, gaining ground in the footwork with a quick in line transfer that produced consistent throws around the bag. Stats speak for themselves with a 1.86 pop time and 79 mph velo. Offensively, the righty started from an even balanced stance with evident weight shift through contact and hip torque to generate line drives with carry gap to gap. He has power potential when timed up, posting an exit velo of 86 mph. Ran a 7.97 sixty yard dash. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
