Yanthony Diaz is a 2025 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends Mount St Michael Academy. Works from a lean athletic frame with room to add strength as he continues to physically develop. Primary outfielder, gets a good first step on the baseball and creates useful momentum as he works through it. Stays fairly light on his feet and separates into a deeper arm path. Has some intriguing arm speed with more velocity to project for. Recorded arm strength up to 83 mph from the outfield. Right-handed hitter, starts in an open base and utilizes a negative toe-tap trigger. Works into a slightly downhill bat path and gets pushy with the hands at times. Proved capable of working the entire field with the majority of contact going the opposite way. Impacts the baseball with good strength when timed up. Recorded an exit velocity of 91 mph. Ran a 7.00 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the 2024 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase (Sat.) Top Prospect List.
