Alex Rosario is a 2023 C/SS, OF with a 5-7 155 lb. frame from Riviera Beach, FL who attends Jupiter Christian. Recorded a 7.05 second 60-yard dash time. Primary catcher with a low center frame and slender build. Quick transfer behind the plate with good footwork and throws up to 73 mph from a short-arm slot. Recorded a 1.93 second pop time with accurate throws. Athletic actions behind the plate transfer to secondary shortstop position. Throws across the diamond at 78 mph with a smooth exchange and release. Fundamental fielding actions at shortstop and in the outfield with momentum on throws to the bases at 79 mph with a slightly longer throwing motion and uphill release from the outfield. Right-handed hitter with hands close to the body setup in the box and even base. Upright stance with knee-lift trigger and hand separation into slot. Works best through middle of field with compact swing and barrel control. Good student.
