Solen Munson is a 2023 C/RHP/UT with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Asbury, IA who attends Hempstead. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. Left handed hitter, loads his hands and elbow tight, short swing with some uphill path to contact, swings hard and creates some bat speed, hits to all fields. Loose and athletic behind the plate, has good lower half quickness and comes out of his crouch well, good arm strength on his throws. Also played outfield and he has the athleticism to do that at the next level as well. Good student.
