Ethan Strickland is a 2024 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-7 116 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends Stanton College Preparatory. Shorter height with a slender frame and plenty of room to fill. Ran a 7.96 in the sixty yard dash. A primary first baseman, works his feet well for the position and puts himself in good fielding positions to adjust. Also worked out in the outfield and stays back to read hops before working through and was consistent with online throws to the bases. A right-handed hitter, spread stance and uses a leg lift to gather. flat plane to contact and keeps the hands inside and behind the ball, working a good opposite field approach with strength at contact. A secondary pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch and has intent at release. Good arm side run on the fastball with a quick arm and the ability to miss barrels. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
