Dillon McClister is a 2027 OF/RHP, SS with a 6-1 130 lb. frame from Chino, CA who attends Damien. Features a taller lean frame that has plenty of projection. In the OF, he showed an aggressive approach working through the ball quickness with a smaller crowhop into his throws. Used a shorter arm action he paired with uphill shoulders he pulled down from. Got off accurate 1-hop throws. In the INF, his actions were raw but fielded each GB clean showing some present glove feel/skill. Footwork was avg. getting to his spots but didn’t work through the ball with some slow down at reception. Similar shorter arm action from the OF that showed easy effort accuracy across the diamond up to 71 mph. Current 3B projection. At the plate, he sits in a taller and slightly open stance. Uses a controlled leg lift trigger as hands/barrel work into a good launch position. Hands-dominant swing that at times cut/push the barrel with avg. bat speed for his level. He did stay through a couple well that he stayed on and drove to the middle of the field.
