Thomas Glasspoole is a 2026 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Orange Park, FL. Young, square shouldered frame with a high waist and a lean build, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.27 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, hands play at the ball out front, deliberate pace to footwork, plays under control and shows natural actions, clean arm stroke with accuracy across the diamond and present arm strength on throws. Also pitched, gathers over the rubber well, leg lift up past waist with a long arm swing through the backside working to a higher slot. Generates some downhill plane to fastball, topped out at 75 mph, remains direct to the plate, occasionally pulls across body at release, flashed a curveball up to 61 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, utilizes a short leg lift trigger for timing, limited shift through lower half. Loads hands back at start of swing, works to the middle and pull side parts of the field, gets the barrel to it with developing strength and bat speed, can implement additional lower half into swing, contact oriented approach. Good student.
