Hayden Mesh is a 2021 3B/RHP with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from White Lake, MI who attends Walled Lake Northern. Large physical frame with present athleticism, posted a 7.01 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary infielder, profiles well as a corner infielder with a strong arm and excellent carry across the diamond. Fields out in front and stays in front of the ball well. On the mound, has a long and loose arm action from an over the top slot. Side steps in the windup then comes up to a high leg lift. Strong arm, fastball up to 86 mph with some downward angle to the plate. Breaking ball is a 12-to-6 curveball with plus bite and depth to the plate and is a solid out pitch. Also throws a harder slider as well. At the plate, uses an upright and even stance with plenty of strength in his hands. Great bat speed through the zone, drives the ball to all fields. Good feel for the barrel, hands work direct to the baseball. Good student in the classroom as well. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect List.
