Nicholas Garcia is a 2023 3B/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Edmond, OK who attends Edmond North. Big and strong athletic build for his age, plenty of physical projection remaining. Right handed hitter, shifts into contact well and gets his lower half involved, short swing with tight hands through the zone, mid-field to opposite field contact, will need to add more extension to his swing to take advantage of his size and strength potential. 7.75 runner, still growing into his body defensively, tends to bend at the waist with narrow foot spacing approaching the ball, arm is his best defensive asset with smooth stroke and some carry across the diamond. Also pitched, works from the stretch with a 3/4's arm slot, pretty mechanically sound delivery that he repeats well. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, showed good cutting action at times that looked intentional. Curveball has good spin and late break with a 12/6 downer shape at times. Threw strikes with some feel and has a ceiling on the mound.
