Johnalbert Franco is a 2025 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Farmingdale, NY who attends Farmingdale. Franco showed off young athletic actions over the course of the event with further room to develop the build and add strength as a '25 grad. Starting from his primary IF spot, he showcased quick footwork with range to both sides and zip across the diamond up to 80 mph. He controlled the body and mechanics well on the run with natural actions present. On the mound, Franco worked exclusively from the stretch with a coiled leg lift and high 3/4 slot to locate in the zone and record outs efficiently. Velocity will continue to tick up as the frame fills out. Offensively, the switch hitter started from a wider open base on both sides with intent to work the middle of the field. He flashed looseness to the hands with further room to develop power potential, posting an exit velo of 76 mph. Ran a 8.09 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
