2025 PG National Showcase
Joel Arroyo is a 2026 OF/C/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Homestead, FL who attends Piper. Athletic build with some length and good present strength. Right handed hitter, with a spread base, higher hands, and the back elbow up. He has a hanging front foot glide working into contact. Tons of physical strength in the swing and can really impact and drive the ball when he's in-sync. Used the whole field during his round of swings, with best results working to CF/RF in the air. Functional swing overall. Produced some low-90s EVs up to 98 mph during his round of BP. Produced a 92 mph EV during PG DK Testing. Worked out in the outfield with some present strength showing in the arm. He fields it out in front, charging it well, with a medium acrm action. Some carry to throws with one-hop accuracy around the bag. Comes out well on a lower flight, with throws coming in at 95 mph from the outfield. Worked out on the infield with quicker and choppy steps, working to it. Showed clear arm strength across with throws at 92 mph to first. Hands worked well, with a feel to move laterally at the position. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to San Jacinto CC.
