Joel Arroyo is a 2026 OF/RHP/MIF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Homestead, FL who attends Virtual De Educacion Acelerada. Features a taller build with some present strength/physicality. In the OF, showed athletic actions. Got around and through the baseball with quickness and without breaking momentum into reception which was clean and out front. Arm showed adv. strength working loose to an over the top slot, getting off throws with strong carry that were on-fly accurate. At 3B, had a strong showing as well. Avg. footspeed/quickness but got to his spots showing correct footwork laterally and coming in. Present glove skill to both sides working clean at reception with quickness to release, especially on DPs. Arm strength played here as well showing carry and accuracy across. Clean charge and throw on slow-roller. At the plate, sits in a medium base and uses a simple leg lift trigger that works in rhythm. Hands stay inside the baseball well while delivering the barrel on an uphill path into contact. Balanced and leverages his front side well. Contact mostly stayed through the middle of the field but took a couple over the LF wall showing the impact/power. On the mound, more of a simple operation. Balanced up/down mid-chest knee lift. Smaller sit and pushes of the rubber where he lands on-line with a hard finish where he gets over his front side. Arm works into a slight stab out the back and up to a higher 3/4 slot. Some high glove arm deception is present. Ran the FB up to 86 that had some downhill action and flashed some accidental cut. Mixed in a developing loose spun breaker in the upper 60s. Command struggled at times as he was pulling off a tad and leaking directionally off to glove-side. Named to Top Prospects List.
