Slade Haney is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Piedmont, AL who attends The Donoho. Ran a 7.71-second sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with a young and projectable frame. Fields off the front foot with a good gather and approach in the outfield, attacking the ball well and carrying the momentum into throws. Has a long arm action, making accurate throws to bases at 82 miles per hour. Right-handed hitter that starts from an upright and even stance, leaning back into the load and creating some leverage with a naturally lifted barrel plane. Executes a middle of the field to pull-side approach with developing strength and jump off the barrel. Secondary right-handed pitcher that hides the ball well from a three-quarter slot, with developing efficiency in the lower half as well and getting rotational at times. Works in the zone with the fastball at 73-76 miles per hour, flashing developing feel for a mid-60s curveball as well. Good student.
