Jacob Brown is a 2023 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Ann Arbor, MI who attends P27 Academy. Long and strong athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 6.85 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has good hands and some foot quickness, long and loose arm action with some carry, also played some first base and is very athletic for that position. Right handed hitter, hits from a deep hand load with and easy well timed leg raise load, has a very strong swing with present bat speed, fast hands get the barrel out front consistently, can really impact the ball with pull side power and carry, projects extremely well as a hitter. Very good student, verbal commitment to West Virginia.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
