Thomas Carroll is a 2024 C/RHP with a 5-7 185 lb. frame from Culleoka, TN who attends Culleoka Unit. Short stocky build with some compact strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance with a short leg raise trigger, has good hand quickness and creates some bat speed, turns the barrel well out front for solid pull side contact, line drive swing plane. 7.34 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, receives the ball well but limited present arm strength limits him defensively. Took a turn on the mound, throws from a low 3/4's arm slot with a short strike out front. Threw strikes with a fastball that topped out at 72 mph to go with a soft sweeping slider. Very good student.
