2022 13U/14U Summer Northeast Showcase (Wed-Thurs)
Patrick Devesin is a 2026 3B/IF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Brooklyn, NY who attends Midwood. Compact, medium frame with a high waist and plenty of room to physically mature. Primary third baseman with a developing defensive skill set. Displays clean footwork into there fielding process, funnels out in-front with soft hands and works uphill into release. Incorporates some extra steps to throw and recorded developing arm strength up to 67 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and negative leg lift loading mechanism. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics, some compact hand speed and strength in his hands. Middle-of-the field approach with some lift to his swing path and some feel for the barrel. Solid bat-to-balls skills with occasional impact and burgeoning power potential. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Young, developing prospect with projectable components tool wise and plenty of upside remaining. Good Student.
