2022 Sunshine Texas Showcase
Colin Kelly is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Colleyville, TX who attends Colleyville Heritage. Posted a 7.52 in the 60. Primary RHP with a medium athletic build showing off pitchability. Worked a simple operation with a deep arm action and high 3/4 slot on the release. The arm can be behind at times but the delivery is clean when synced up. The secondary offerings showed some upside when the arm is maintained, the breaking ball has a short 11/5 action and killed the spin effectively on the changeup with late dive life. Both pitches looked solid for the put-away. Provides some deception in the delivery making it difficult to square. Moving pieces in his ability on the mound to project on.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
