AJ Sutberry is a 2024 OF/UT with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Maryville, IL who attends Father McGivney Catholic. Medium, narrow shouldered frame with present strength to frame throughout. Ran a 7.70 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front with some softness to hands, works into a longer arm action and shows body control in actions, will continue to refine overall actions, shows some carry on throws, feet are in sync. Right-handed hitter, begins with an upright and slightly open stance, utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing. Long swing path through the zone, works to all fields with contact and best is to middle and pull side. Incorporates lower half into swing, creates some loft and swings with intent. Very good student.
