Bryant James is a 2026 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-1 173 lb. frame from Annandale, VA who attends Gonzaga College. Features an athletic/lean build with plenty of projection. At SS, his athleticism showed. Rangy actions showing light/quick feet with clean glovework that fields through the baseball. Shows quickness to release with an above avg. arm that showed a shorter action and was accurate from multiple angles and slots. At the plate, stood in a narrow, open and relaxed stance with an upright upper-half. Shorter/simple forward move as he walks away from the hands. Some early length to the swing as it works on an uphill path into contact. Stays inside and behind it well. Sprayed a ton of LDs into both gaps during his round. Barrel showed some early exit at times where pullside results were on the ground or top spun. Rotates fast and shows above avg. bat/hand speed for his level. Named to Top Prospects List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
