Jose Lopez is a 2025 3B/C with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Westminster Christian. Strong framed build with athletic traits in profile. Ran a 6.73 in the sixty. Primary catcher, ultra athlete popped a 1.90 time in drills. Side saddle start with a strong arm, produced carry to the bag. Quick out of the crouch and gains ground, good athlete with swivel behind plate. Infielder with big arm talent, works a bit downhill in release with powerful arm across the diamond. Solid hands and angles to the ball with an arm that projects for a corner with its carry. Right-handed hitter, balanced base with high hand set and hand load. Connected swing gets. into both halves, heavy barrel with quality bat speed. Ability to lift and backspin balls to the pull side. Big time athlete on both sides with an impactful stick.
