Memphis Wirtz is a 2027 1B/RHP/OF with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Battle Creek, MI who attends Lakeview. Strong and physical frame. Ran a 7.62 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, squares to the baseball, gets the glove out front to field, quick funnel, moves around the bag and turns the double play well with a solid average throwing arm. Corner outfield type profile in the outfield, moves methodically to the baseball, fields off the front foot and showed average arm strength up to 77 from the outfield. Hit from a wide base at the plate, pull side approach with real strength in the swing, direct hand path to the baseball with a level bat path and feel for getting to the barrel consistently. Some deception to the delivery on the mound with developing stuff. Fastball up to 78, threw it for strikes consistently and mixed in a curve with depth. Strike throwing ability with two pitches stood out on the mound. Some potential as a two-way talent. Named to High School All-State Select top prospect list. Excellent student.
