Ryan Tucholka is a 2024 C/1B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Henrico, VA who attends Godwin. Medium frame with broad shoulders and present strength. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.32 seconds. Primary position C utilizing a low set and game like actions, comes out of his crouch well and gains good ground on his throws. While there is room for the arm strength to improve, registering velocities of 67 mph down to 2B, the throws were accurate and his best pop time was 2.19 seconds. Right handed hitter with an active hand load and quiet stride, he worked hard to get on plane through contact. The swing mechanics get a bit rotational cutting the swing off sometimes but the ball gets off the barrel when he stays through the pitch. Still a lot of time for this young athlete to develop and the tools are there to project on. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
