Reed Beatty is a 2025 1B/3B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Paul Laurence Dunbar. Physical, broad shoulder frame. Ran a 7.58 60-yard dash. First baseman with sound fundamental footwork, moved efficiently around the bag, field the ball out front and gets rid of it quick with some accuracy across and on double play feeds. Hit from an even and upright stance, pushes hands some, works downhill, and shows a primary opposite field approach. Strength based hitter that is still figuring out how to get his swing in sync. Has some building blocks as a physical first baseman. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
