Jarin Johnson is a 2024 OF/RHP/SS with a 6-3 160 lb. frame from Buford, GA who attends Archer. Very lean and highly projectable build. Ran a 7.07 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, uses choppy steps and works through it well with a good idea. Showed a loose and fuller arm action with strong and accurate throws up to 88 mph. Also worked out in the infield, showed the athleticism again on the dirt with good movements and range. Showed the ability to drop slot and produced throws up to 86 mph. Pitched as well with a bright future on the mound. Has very real arm speed working from a full windup. Slower pace delivery and could improve overall timing if sped up. Comes from a higher slot up to 82 mph. Also showed some comfort with both changeup and curveball. Changeup shows good arm side action and really killed spin consistently at around 1000 RPM. Flipped in a softer curveball for strikes that lacked conviction. Fastball flashes occasional big life out of the hand from his fast arm. Raw product on the hill, but has all the components to throw pretty hard as he puts on weight and strength. Very athletic overall kid with a high ceiling in every facet.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
