Trevor Yancey is a 2027 2B/RHP/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Providence Day. Slender compact frame. Ran a 7.82 60-yard dash. Versatile infielder and outfielder with feel for fundamental footwork to the baseball, loose actions working through the baseball, fundamental glove placement and a clean arm action from anywhere on the diamond with above average arm strength. Hit from a wide base with load stride timing, short to the baseball with a direct hand path, developing bat to ball skills with intent to the swing. Quicker arm on the mound out of a high three-quarter arm slot, short stride toward the mound with developing ability to find a consistent release point. Ran the fastball up to 81, mixed in an overhand curve and showed some feel for a fading change up. Developable traits overall. Very Good student.
